Rotating tires on rims?

Is it alright to rotate the stretched rear tires onto the slimmer front rims? I'm assuming it won't be a problem.

If you have enough rubber left on the rears to put on the front then...........you're driving it wrong !!

Just figuring you could make a set last a little longer.

Yes, it's A-OK. Lots of 1LE owners have done just that.

When the first set of rears went away, I put a brand new tire on all four corners and saved the two front tires. When the rears in that second set were toast, I had the saved fronts mounted on the rear and got about 7k more miles out of that set up. I will do the same this go around, but I am at about 50,300 miles and have decent tread left and am on the third set of tires.

To answer your question OP, go for it!

Nah.

Don't do it to a sports car, that depends on driving feel, handling, grip. It never feels the same again, it just doesn't.
