Took my SS to Watkins Glen yesterday! Wow! Fantastic. Beautiful day and what a track. I have a few pictures, but I'm having a problem uploading from Photobucket. Someone help as I have never uploaded pictures at this site before. Anyway, I had the top down and was hitting those corners and straights with gusto. I hit about 95 on the front stretch, and scared myself a little in the back boot with those tight turns. I was smelling those brake pads and loving the sound coming from my LS3. What a blast!

A nice Matt finish peril white wrap would be great and protect it. I wish mine was wrapped before the little nicks occurred.

Big fun isn't it? Wait till you go with the club - you'll find we usually get a little more spirited runs that the standard offering!

I'm going to put DOT 4 brake fluid in and Amsoil in the rear differential. I was going at a pretty good clip as I let the guy in front of me get ahead a little. First time on a track for me. A little scary going into the turns and downshifting to 2nd. I had the rear slide a little and it made my heart jump a bit. lol. HEY, can you help with pictures? I am so frustrated. I tried to paste the link from photobucket, but she no work.

Surgery went fine. Just a little bone graft and a plate with screws. Got script for 40 Hydrocodones. Doubt I'll need more than 5-6, Luckily there's an elementary school and a bar just down the road, lol.

Welcome! You ever get down to Syracuse on a Friday or Saturday night to play? I'm usually out there meeting up with the guys at least one of those nights.

Definitely link up for the cruise down to Watkins Glen - they'll be a few of us from the area. They'll be more discussion on that as it gets closer, definitely keep an eye on this thread.

I have no photobucket experience, so I'm not sure. I usually just upload anything I want to share as an attachment.

Here is some highlights from the clubs last trip down to WGI last fall. We had a good time.

Might be able to meet up on some Saturday nights. Meeting up for the drive to the Glenn would be fun. I'll keep watching for details.
