Suspension Advice

Hey guys, need some advice here. I currently have a 2010 SS with only bolt ons(I/H/E). My plan is to eventually cam the car but I am at least a year(probably) away from being able to do that. In the mean time I figure I should work on the suspension a little bit. Gotta out that power to ground right? So my question would be whats a good place to start that is not going to break the bank? My budget is definitely under $1000 and way less if there is optional stuff I can put off. I am also a noob when it comes to doing my own work but I would like to try so anything too involved I would like to stay away from. I did all the bolt ons myself but that is not really saying anything. As always any help is appreciated.

P.S. I am located in Pennsylvania if thats relevant at all.

Call or pm JusticePete. He is the guru for suspensions on our cars.

Being a 2010, you will need the updated end links when doing the rear sway bar.

I've pulled 1.02g after his help and there is more in her... I just ran out of corner

I don't remember exactly, but I have done a lot more than are looking to do at the moment.

But the bright side is that you don't have to do everything at once My advice after talking to Pete, figure out everything you want replace and then divide those parts into which ones require an alignment and which ones don't. Also, Firestone for lifetime alignment when that ti.e comes, so you only have to pay for that part of it once!!

Don't forget the new style rear sway bar! It'll require new lower control arms and links (relatively cheap from a dealer) but is well worth it. For the bar itself, you could go with a factory 1LE or ZL1 bar and keep your current front bar, or go aftermarket and upgrade both front and rear bars.
