I went 12.3@112 bolton's stock converter and gear with 275/20 555R DRs, 1.85.

I think if i had owned my own HPT at that time and knew more about shift points like I do now I could have run quicker.

Yes....just picked up the car an hour ago. Went out for a test hit. All nannies off and footbraking the stall to 1800 the car left hard laying 2 black patchs about 3 feet long on a sideroad thats still a little grity with some sand from the winter. The second hit I stopped on a section of the road that was repaved last year. Did the same launch and spun just a bit ...but i could tell the car hooked alot better by the way it pulled. Im extremely happy. Keep in mind the tires are inflated to around 30lbs or so and tbe roads are a little gritty still. Had my buddy that owns a 5.0 riding shot gun to be a second opinion. He was so impressed these tires are going on his car.

So will these tires allow you to launch at full throttle or do still have to ease into it.

Im not sure exactly how the stall will react yet at the track....im hoping to dead hook once i can figure out how i will launch.....either ease into it or hammer it.

John who had tuned your car at that time? And had you done any weight reduction?
