Just took a set of my car..... replaced them with a set of drag radials. 2 summers many 1/4 mile runs and they still have lots of life left. They are great tires.

I have never drag raced IRL what's drag radials like to run on? I'm more of a road rally, track, drift person. There is freeway rolling but I don't like to really promote that now that I've gotten older

I havnt ran the drag radials at the track yet. They were just installed yesterday. But around town they work well from what i can tell from the limited driving ive done on them.

Ah okay. I always wondered if there was more sidewall play on drag tires like in turns if the back wiggled around more.....but I might be thinking of big fat drag radials

Falkens are good tires but lots of them seem to wear fast

me? I haven't changed my tires yet... only 9k miles. But I've had Falkens on other vehicles... they got their claim to fame years ago as inexpensive Corvette tires... but they just never last very long.

After 2 summers of hard street driving and many 1/4 mile passes I disagree. They still have lots of life in them. When I wear my new Nittos drag radials out I may put them back on the car.

I went with the Falken Aziens. They are way better then the stock P zeros they go down hill in a hurry once they wear a bit and are expensive to replace. I had the Falken Aziens installed on my bolton SS. They worked grest. Went with a 391 gear set and they still did awesome on the street and held up really well st the track after numerous passes. But I knew after my stall i wanted to really see how the car ran at the track and drag radials were my best bet. Here is my thread on the Falkens.
