I haven't heard anyone say they would go back to the factory OEM? I never thought the factory tires were noisy, but this is my first set. 18K miles. Frts are still ok so looking to just get the rear. Has anyone gone a little wider than factory or best to just stick with what I have? Summer only driving / weekend / no rain. Thanks for the help.

I just wanted to update that I wound up with the GMAX again and the new ones don't roar like my old ones did (old ones did since day one/brand new BTW).
They're nice and quiet. Maybe they changed formula or revised them due to noise complaints or I got a bad batch on my first set? Dunno, but my new GMAX are dead silent now like the stock tires.... I'm happy!

Not on my Camaro, but I had the Conti DWS (original version) and the General GMAX AS-03's on my previous car and I liked both tires equally. The Conti's seemed to have a slight edge in all performance categories, as well as comfort and noise. But that's not to say the Generals are bad tires, I would have gotten them again for sure.
Only reason why I went back to Pirelli's on my Camaro is because they were on sale for 120 a pop lol can't pass that up
