If it is a spring, it will sag over time. Some sag less than others, but all springs under load sag over time.
If you already have to 'make sure they are aligned before' you put the car on the ground the coils are too short to stay trapped. Contact BMR for replacements. |

That is also what I thought. Or, if you have a suggestion on coils, let me know.
Thanks! -Don

When I installed lowering springs last year mine did the same thing. I was so set on BMR because they were red and matched my car. I called BMR and they couldn't provide a solution so I took them back and replaced them with Hotchkiss springs. The Hotchkiss springs fit perfectly!

BMR team, You recommended clocking springs to me for same issue but not sure you have read the other comments where people clocked them and still didnt solve issue. Makes no sense how not clocking bushings makes this issue go away. I wilk clock mine during alignment tomorrow probably but you might want to ask the team to think about this.... doubt clocking will fix it.

This is an easy one. The free height of the coil is too low to stay trapped. The coils need to be remade, longer, taller in free height to stay trapped or as the end user you need to shim them. Shimming may be as simple as some coil wrap on the butt ends of the coils. An 1/8" at the top and bottom will most likely resolve the issue.

I clocked all bushings at dealer and the spring is short just like OPs picture. Pete your right, the free height is too short and BMR stated its a dual rate so it can collapse under weight... I did order eibach coil wrap the only dissapointing thing is what ever you do it all means your raising the car and your not getting the 1.25" advertised. I ll update after coil sleeves.

Did BMR address this issue on the 1.25” springs? It seems it’s only an issue on the 1.25”. Haven’t read similar issues on the 1.4” and 1.0” set.

Same Issue
Seems as though BMR still has not fixed this issue. I installed my springs last week and have this very issue. I reached out to their tech support yesterday but I'm not confident after reading this thread i will get a resolution.
