Would that CAMARO5 code be acceptable on a Vmax throttle body?

I am going to install catless hookers down pipes, with manaflow x pipe, and str8 to the Gibson muffles. no resonator at all. Question is if i install 2 x pipes instead of 1, would that take away allot of the rasp? I hear everyone having rasp in their system and then adding MF resonator x pipe. So i figure i will add another for a total of 2 and see if it cuts back on the rasp but still have the sound. Any suggestion beside the MF resonator x.

I'm no expert but I suspect a second x-pipe would create unnecessary restriction. If you install the Magnaflow x-pipe - which is a muffler - and you already have a pair of mufflers I don't think you're going to get any rasp. Rasp typically comes from straight-pipe'd/free-flowing exhausts, and resonators and mufflers help reduce said rasp by eliminating the high-frequency sound waves that cause rasp. If you're still worried, I'd keep those resonators and go with one Magnaflow x-pipe.

Here is a video I started to document the aesthetic mods I was doing - sorry about the music. I installed an axle back Loudmouth 1 last fall. You can here it start in the garage and then very light throttle down the driveway.... then the music stops and I hit the throttle pretty hard through town. It's loud, and an economical option if you want to make a change without breaking the bank. Took about 45 minutes to install.

here's a video someone put up with drive byes with a loudmouth 1.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?annota...&v=_ZzRBmNjkNY

This video shows install of a loudmouth 2 before and after so you can see how easy it is to install it. Definitely a DIY project.

At the end of the day, there are lots of examples on YouTube of different systems. Search 'meandminetv' on YouTube. He's got a great video with 3 different exhaust examples - and his other videos are very entertaining as well. All that said, given my budget, it was definitely the best option for me and I'm happy enough with the result to look to other upgrades before considering a revisit to the exhaust.

Best of luck with your search and decision!!

I went with catless, no muffliers, and a resonated X pipe. How loud do you want it to be? lol. I was filling our vehicles up at the gas station, and could hear my girlfriend leave the station for a mile.

This is without mufflers, everything else stock. The cheapest option.

The dual mode performance exhaust with the Forza Componenti controller is an inexpensive way to make your LFX sound much better. Great thing is with the remote you can turn the exhaust on and off at will.

Ordered mine from Jegs Monday, received Tuesday (!!), and installed Tuesday night. Could not be happier!. Perfect low rumble at idle & medium speed, but get it above about 3K and they sound even better.

I can hear very, very little drone if any. I made the mistake of buying the Chinese Ebay mufflers last year and sold them on C.L. about a month later. Terrible drone. Trust me...I know drone. I've got an '85 Vette with straight duals & Hooker aerochambers on it.

Anyways, I think the Dynomax (39493) has a perfect sound combination throughout the rev range.

Old post but check out Jone Performance Exhaust. Very well constructed and sound really good matched with an Xpipe.
