It is engine oil based on color. Check to be sure the filter is tight.

filter is good and oil cooler is clean, replaced it a few years ago. This drip just showed up this year. Bought the car new in October of 2010, has about 24,000 miles on in it.

Pull the aluminum plug / cover. Is the inside of the bell housing dry?

With the sight plug removed like JusticePete said you can usually look through the flex plate at the rear main seal to see if it's wet. In my experience over the last 10 years as a GM tech, it's going to be your oil pan gasket. I've changed countless oil pan gaskets on LS engines, haven't replaced a rear main yet.

NA with everything but port and polished heads. I'll check it out on Saturday night. We have cars and coffee tomorrow.
