Dr. Suzanna Hupp ROCKS!
I just got the SMRS (.308 AR10 Amralite military spec. sniper system) with the Nightforce X40 scope) It is a blast when you want to reach out and tough at about 800 yds.

Damn rite it is! So is this lil AR-50 I have with a big ole Leupold on it! Reach out and bust through 1" steel plate! Although it doesn't lay down as much lead as the Ma Deuce!

Heee Hee Heee! I like the way you think there Windy!
I take it your AR50 is a Barrett, how do you like it? I hear the recoil is about like a 12 ga. If you ever try a nxs nightforce I will bet you wont ever give it up. I was wrong on my other post, the .308 has a 15x50 on it. I have a couple of leupolds and it is a great scope, but the nightforce is about the most durable scope built, really amazing glass. Of course it is also about a $2300 a pop.

I can dent a tin can... that's about it. LOL

We have plenty of guns. There are lots of woods behind our house with lots of hunters. The deer come right up to our house quite often because of our apple trees and grape vines. The only thing that we really shoot at are coyotes and deer when the hunting season is in.

Actually I kind of quit hunting years ago. I only shoot what causes economic damage on the family farm, although I prefer traping the little bugars (squirrels). One of those cute little furry things eats about $100 worth of pecans a year, not to mention the damage to the ditches. I still love to punch paper though.
Coyotes eat squirrels so I leave them alone, crows on the other hand 12ga works well.
Wish I had the time I used to for shooting, guess I need to make it.

Hey we need a moderator to add a Guns section for all of this. Then we can stick to talking about our bad as* rides at LPE. Camaros and guns just kind of go together we need a forum here.
I hope to get some good news from Ryan at LPE next week. I hope those pistons get in there soon! I want, no need my camaro!
I guess I will have to live via Windys bad boy for the mean time. So we will need lots of video and stories Windy!

I am a little disapointed. My appointment to be transformed at LPE was the 28th and now has been extended to the 15th. I guess my chrome finish Supercharger will not be in until then. I am not very good at waiting!! I did want to know if any of you guys were able to drive your cars before they went to LPE? I think it would be tough for me to not experience the before power. I will say that mine has the CAI used by LPE and a 3" cat back MBRP and it feels like it is almost 500hp now. I can go down my road stop and turn off the traction control hammer it and hold on. It will smoke the tires as long as I want or as long as I can keep it from going sideways. I am very curious to se the before dyno with just the CAI and exhaust.

This was the day of my first speeding ticket in the Camaro. I was checking out the mileage with a few different scenarios and was pulled over doing 75 in a 60. I was able to figure out that with no wind on a flat highway going 70 I could get around 28 - 30 mpg. No warnings that day from the state police I think he was jelous that my car was faster then his.

Squirrels=tree rats! I used to shoot/eat alot of em when I was a teenager. Haven't done it in years. I try to kill a few deer every year thou. Love the meat and eat all of it I can get my hands on!
I heard you guy in Texas had issued with them wild hogs? Like to get a few of them too!

My car had about 220 miles on it when I sent it off. That was back in July. I didn't even use up the tank of gas it came with. Looking forward to destroying the stock tires!

Hey Paul, I did get to drive my car before sending it to LPE, put about 500 mi on it. Its been gone for 5 weeks now and I do miss it like hell. I also know the waiting will be worth it in the end. Sounds like you are having a blast with yours and I'm guessing you can enjoy it all the way up until your appointment date. BTW my before dyno was 375 rwhp. (LS3).

I havn't seen mine yet... It was drop shipped to Courtesy Chevrolet - like 2 miles from LPE. There are pic's windy took of it somewhere in one of these lingy threads - That's all I have seen of my ride. (Thanks Windy!)

I spoke with Tim at LPE on Friday afternoon.. My car is almost complete mechanical wise.. S/C is installed, boost guage and MTI shifter are done, The Borla exhaust will be finished on Monday. Still have some little things left at LPE.. Alignment, detailing, Tune, Post Dyno run. Then it ships to my autobody shop for body part painting mods.

BME trailing arms are on the way. Pedders track suspension is on order.
Revolution body parts start shipping next week.NPE rear spoiler shipping early next week. Upgraded brake rotors on order. Need to order half shafts for the rear real soon...

It should be complete and ready to ship mid to late next week..!

Yep Pual, my date got pushed from August 15th to the 30th, Its been gone five weeks, as a matter of fact RS-SS2 and mine were on the same truck. We are getting the same package (650hp). He jumpmed out in the lead on the race through LPE, and has his motor built. If it were'nt for the lack of pistons I would catch up. I think the volume they are doing now is awsome, parts are running behind, but for some reason I think they will smooth out and get right back on track.
They are very good at what they do, in my opinion the Best. The Camaro being new dosent help a lot either, all of the parts are running behind in production.
It will be worth it, I figure if it took ten months after I ordered the car to get it whats a couple of months extra to make the car so much more.

Well guys I feel for you!! I am lucky that I can still drive it while waiting for parts to arrive. On the other hand I really didn't want to rack up this many miles so soon but driving it is very addictive. It is like instant popularity when I drive through town I'm always getting thumbs up and people breaking there necks to look at it. I own my own business about 25 miles from LPE and I am a very good supervisor so I think I will go there everyday that it is being worked on until they kick me out lol. I was there a couple weeks ago and the one thing I noticed while taking a spin in the LPE car was the Supercharger is so quiet that I couldn't even hear it whistle or anything. I originally thought that I would be able to hear it whistle but nope it's almost silent.
