2011 Header Panel Handle Garnish
I looked through the directions on how to replace the header panel on my Camaro which is now broken(bosses) and I am stumped on how to get the plastic piece above the release handle out. I know the directions say to push up but I can see what that would do. I don't want to break it so I am wondering if anyone knows how to get this piece out so I can get to the hidden screw. Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated.

You push it up and turn sideways and pull it out. You'll have to push hard!
