I'm replacing the top & I'm considering changing from black to blue, but the black & beige part numbers state '2nd design':

The blue part number doesn't state it:

Please explain the difference.

The blue was for the dusk edition which was 2012? They redesigned in 2014. I wonder if they wouldn't be swappable.

If the blue top is only from the dusk edition, I think it was a 2013 model.

You're right. I tried to get one on my 14 and was told it was only for that one edition.

If I only knew in which design(s) it was made... 1st and/or 2nd?

My 2014 Spring Edition has a blue top... the website says it will work on 2012 - 2015. It was released after the redesign adding the additional or changes to how the top connects to the frame. Other than that I don't think there is much difference.

How could I forget that. The car I put together is basically a spring edition before the spring edition came out.
