You gave tire sizes both times, what size are the rims? 20x8, 20x9 etc.

The rim size should be located along the rim on the back of the hub. It consists of three measurements: diameter, width and bolt pattern. The diameter measurement refers to the diameter of the rim itself, and the width measurement refers to the width or depth of the rim.

Recommended 20" tires/wheels
245/45-20 = 28.7" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
255/45-20 = 29.0" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
265/40-20 = 28.4" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
275/40-20 = 28.7" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel
285/40-20 = 28.9" tall, 9.0-10.0 wheel
295/35-20 = 28.1" tall, 9.5-10.5 wheel
305/35-20 = 28.4" tall, 10.0-10.5 wheel
315/35-20 = 28.7" tall, 10.5-11.0 wheel

you want to keep height close for ABS

The rims I have on now are 20x9 and 20x10 and the new rims are 20x9.5 and 20x10.5. I just want to make sure my tires on the 9 and 10 inch rim will fit on the 9.5 and 10.5 rims

Thanks all for the help...they are both stock SS rims.... just diff years... they should be the same... it just worriedme when the tires that were on the rims before were the 2 sizes I stated earlier... and my current tires were just a little off ex 275/35ZR/20 tires im putting on are 275/40ZR/20.... maybe I worded my question poorly... I just wanted to know if the tire difference would be an issue but it seems the rim depths are the same 9.5 and 10.5.
