The most interesting to me is those 778 1LS Camaros. I wonder how many of those rare Camaros were ordered with absolutely NO options. Now that would be a rare Camaro.
Does anyone have one or know of one ?.

Even though I have a yellow "Bumblebee" the Camaro I believe is bought more for it's history than it's screen appearances in my opinion.

With the Camaro it's the opposite. You don't hear me complain!

Yeah I like that this is happening (for now at least). But like stated earlier, the V-6 will become the best seller once the dust settles. It would be nice to see the 2010 Mustang and 2009/2010 Challenger V-6 to V-8 sales numbers to compare.

I'm glad to see in a time where big engine, big power, V-8 is getting downplayed, phased out and looked down on that this is turning into a huge success!

But we shouldn't be that surprised, it's been like that since they started taking pre-orders:

The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro just went on sale Oct. 13 and GM has already booked over 6,000 orders.

We would reckon that with the way consumers has been shifting to fuel-efficient cars that many people would opt for the V6 models but since gas prices are low and the Camaro is one of the hottest cars to hit the market this year, people are buying the V8 Camaro SS. According to Camaro5, 84 percent of the Camaro units sold so far are SS models.

GM is telling dealers to be careful since it won’t be able to build in this model mix. It is expecting orders to quickly pass the 20,000 units allocated through September. Click here for a detailed pricing sheet.

Orders to date:

LS: 2%
1LT: 4%
2LT: 10%
1SS: 7%
2SS: 77%

Now if they would just give me a RWD, V-8 Impala, Caprice, or whatever they would like to call it........

I don't think their are any options on the LS

Auto Trans!!! That was my only option.... In the end it really comes down to early vin.#'s and how rear its going to be for the future collectors of this car to find.

My Camaro is going to be an LS with no options.

The automatic is an option, floormats are an option, spare tire is an option, sunroof, some ridiculous looking spoiler, ug I thought there was one more. I got none of it.

The salesman said this was the first car he ordered at the actual advertised price. He couldn't believe the number of people that came in and ordered a 2SS and thought it would be $23K.

Delivered price of my Camaro: $23045. That's if they ever get around to building it. Ordered 6-2-09, they said I should have it the first part of November. Oh and it will be Imperial Blue.

RS 25,012 (67.84%)
SS/RS 18,413 (49.94%)

Well, I would've bought the "1SS", however, I couldn't get it with the FULL Comfort and Convenience package and that was very important to me so I bought the " 2SS " instead!
