Hi Gashog congrats, got a similar story like your's that started with I was 10 and a 66 Mustang 289 w/ glasspacks my cousin owned. He liked to hold the clutch in and drop it in 2nd next to anyone who happened to be walking on the sidewalk. Boy would they jump. So you would think I would get one myself, but I've always been fond of Camaros and Chevells. A Chevell 396 SS is what I always wanted until the new style Camaro came out.
So I rented a black 2017 SS while on vacation in San Diego recently. OMG I had to have one. So I bugged my wife, no joy. Then 2 weeks ago out of the blue she says I can buy one, but not brand new. So the search was on day and night. I finally settled on 2013 Limited edition Dusk 2SS in blue ray metallic and 2 tome Mojave leather. Only year that paint was used on a Camaro from what I read. It has less than 11K miles and I got it for 25K with 6 year bumper to bumper. I could not be happier ![]() Some don't understand why a 57 year old would buy such a car, but it fills a life long dream. Besides martial arts has keep me in good shape so no problems driving it. The SS on the dash I added, been sitting on my desk as a reminder. I have a full pic I'll add later, battery is dying. ![]()

We're the same age, Susk 2SS, it sounds like you know exactly where I'm coming from with your feelings about your 2013. Glad you were finally able to find a home for the SS emblem. (And I practice Ashtanga yoga).

Hey Gashog, still doing your Yoga? I stopped the the combo class (boxing, Thai kick boxing, BJJ, Jeet Kune Do, & Filipino Kali/Silat) a year ago. Needed some time for my broken rib and torn meniscus to heal.
Thanks. Yes it's a cool color as it changes in the light. Yesterday in the bright sun, it had a purple haze to it. When I parked it in the shade, it was deep blue metallic. Last night after waxing the hood, it looked almost black. It's like having 3 cars in one. |

Yup like 3 cars in one, Dusk_2SS, Blue Ray Metallic an awesome color.
The Ashtanga has gotten more not less for me. Been doing yoga for about 6 years. It took 3 years but I worked my way up to 6 days a week and practice an hour an a half a day now. You practice this style at home, same routine every day adding on new postures as you master the one before. My doctor can't believe my range of motion and that I am able to control my pain without surgery.
