I did have mine on the beach in Ocracoke this weekend (Outer Banks, NC) but wouldn't dare attempt what this guy did.

By the time the tow truck got there and ran a cable down from high point in beach to water line the waves were already pushing on the side of the car. Owner opened the door to get in to help steer and water poured out the door. When a larger wave would hit it lifted the ocean side of the car up and then dropped it until the next big wave hit. Took another 10 minutes to drag the Cherokee out. Owner opened all the doors and lots of water came out. Ron
