boston front speakers blown.

Yea...i had one of those nights with the stereo up REALLY loud and it ate up the passenger door speaker. I have blown speakers in the past that is something i am good at doing apparently.

I know that most of you guys end up swapping out the oem amp and wire up a bunch of cross overs for new components. Im not really wanting to go down this road. I am looking for a straight plug and play set of speakers that would be a upgrade to the oem Boston stuff. Just wanted to see what people are using to quick fix the blown boston gear. Thanks

All depends on your budget! Wouldn't want to recommend $1000 speakers for a $100 budget. Your best bet may be to try a local car audio shop, tell them your budget, and listen to every different pair they have, only off of head unit power. That way you can come close to what your gonna hear off the crappy Boston amp power.

Crutchfield.com

Pick your car, it'll provide you the speakers and adapters.
You just pay and they'll ship to you.

Provided the OP chose not to read the 500 prior threads on the subject, I agree. Pick up the phone and call Crutchfield. Absolutely nothing is plug and play in the Camaro however.
