Tree Sap on Top
So on the weekend, the car got a single drop of tree sap on the roof. What have others tried to remove the sap from the soft top? I have Chemical guys convertible top cleaner, would that work? Do you use any type of brush or would that push the sap deeper into the fibers?

I'd do a whole top wash and after complete rinse I zero in on spot. It should be softened and then a small brush, like old tooth brush, work at it, rewash section, re rinse the whole top & then blot it down with microfiber cloths. You should be good to go!

Did a complete top wash using Chemical Guys Top Cleaner, was sealed previously with their top sealant, and with minimal agitation with a horse hair brush the sap came right out. Top looks new again.

I had the same problem and use very hot water on a rag. Set the water soaked rag on top of the spot, left it on there for 2 to 3 mins or until the sap soften and wiped it off. Then just washed the car and roof like normal.
