Looking for brembo help
Hey guys I have a set of 2nd gen CTSV (6 piston front and 4 piston back) calipers waiting to be installed. Ordering some stainless lines for them today. I assume I need the ZL1 version stainless lines since the ZL1 uses the 6 piston. Since I have the 1LS I'm also switching my master cylinder to a V8 master cylinder. Am I correct about the brake lines?

you also either need to cut your dust shields or buy the ZL1 ones.

I believe you need the larger front rotors from a zl1 or ctsv as well.

Does anyone have the exact part numbers for the ZL1 front and rear dust shields and anything else I'll need to mount them? Also a part numbers for the caliper mounting bolts would be helpful.

Mike G posted the Zl1 ones above^ and you just need to trim the rear dust shields. You can remove the V6 ones but that's pretty involved.

Is it? Is that just pertaining to the rear or are the fronts complex as well? (Do the fronts have to be replaced? I know the six pistons are a lot bigger then the 4 pistons) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ZL1 Front RH Shield 20944531 Sorry, been so long since I installed them I had to confirm if the shields were directional. For the install, you take the stock (front shields) ones off, then install the Zl1 shields. Torque front brake shield bolts to 9 N.M (80 lb in.) -per GM performance instructions.

Ordering my rotors and pads on Thursday. Any other little small bits I might need? (Maybe hardware wise?) can the V6 front dust shields be used if cut? Or must the front shields be swapped?
