(UPDATE WITH VIDEO)pulled the trigger on a set of cherry bomb vortex mufflers

So I picked up a set of cherry bomb vortex mufflers on amazon for 50$ for 2
There baffled and glass packed. Now I needed new mufflers anyway the stock ones rattled like a M3 BMW. And I also found a exhaust leak and hair line crack in one with black crud around it. Should be arriving around 4-8th of this month.
Only one way to know if they sound good or bad.
Just got to find a place to do the installation.

The idea I had with my other post here would not of worked unless I payed out the behind for Porsche mufflers witch were the only design with the hight width and length to fit in the little room there was. (curses spair tire trunk bulge)
I'm hoping to keep the cost all sed and done at 150$ or under 200$ so far only spent 50$ soo yay?

At the shop now 300$
But its at a mig/tig welding auto shop so quality welds...... Place was surrounded by Porsche and hot rods sooo quality work should be ready around 5pm currently 11:12am my buddy sed he would help film a video/sound clip tonight.
So probably going to have a video up on YouTube and posted here around 2 or 4am depending on how bad at&t service is today lol

Well at&t sucks no internet can't upload a damn thing.

What I can say is that I am very happy with the sound. Not to loud not alot of rasp nice deep subtle and no scream in higher RPMs. But they are glass packs/baffled so I do expect a little change in tone down the road.

If at&t starts working again ill try to get the clip up to YouTube then here.
Oh and virtually no droan. There is a little but its enjoyable and not intrusive

I payed 300$ for new pipes from the resonators back new hangers mufflers had the tips extend 1 inch and perfectly set so nothing is off center.

I'm not sure if they mig or tig welded it up. I was to excited about the sound to ask. Really high quality work.

my plan was to use that muffler you got but as a 2 in 2 out and only have one muffler back there like on a Porsche or bug or I think some 4th gen Camaros had that. I like the sound of yours its very nice. from what I can hear off the single speaker mounted on the pc at work

the only way I can put it for sound is like a old E-Type jag for the sound just without the monster crackle the jag had.

(im thinking of a nice ribeye stake) the sounds fat, juicy, thick and subtle when need be and it does not have that nasty rasp in the high note.
but I do get some nice pops and crackles every now and again, letting the rpms falls when rolling up to a light or stop sign.

oh gods the down shifts blipping the throttle you get this nice fat tone and bass. did not think it was possible to love this car more

Don't sound as deep as I thought they would, but that should change with more miles...If their like the old glass packs get them hot and shot some water in them and they should have that deep growl...Good job...
