Kraftwerks has fairly recently released their new kit for the 5th Gen V8 Camaro. This kit uses a Rotrex centrifugal supercharger.
They can put out 650+ whp with e85 and smaller pulley so no slouch! These also come with a cogged belt/pulley system so there is no worry with belt slip! Kraftwerks is fairly new to the domestic market. They have been big in the import market for these supercharger kits for years now with great results! We have sold hundreds of Kraftwerks kits to the import crowd so far. Kraftwerks' sister company, Grams Performance, has also recently released a set of off road long tube headers which we commonly can bundle with the Kraftwerks supercharger kits. I know there are some users on here already and some of you may already be familiar with these kits. I do not work for Kraftwerks however I am one of their top authorized dealers so I thought I would join up on here and start spreading the word of this new awesome kit they have! If you have any questions please post them up or shoot me a PM or email to sales@moddiction.com You can view some more info on the kit on our website here http://moddiction.com/kraftwerks/kra...i-2137224.aspx As for pricing we are thinking of doing a group buy on here if there is enough interest. This could bring the cost way down! This would be posted in the vendor section though. The kits all come with injectors as well and available with or without Diablosport. Here are some pictures and info on the kit. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Burn out video |

If the group buy was to happen, what is the minimum # of participants to qualify and how much(approx is good enough) of a discount would that be off of the current pricing? I see the tuner kits in the low $5k and the complete kits the mid $5k range incl s/h on the interweb and I have been very interested in this kit ever since I bought my 'maro...tks!!

What head units are they ?
Rotrex usually make small stuff, and their biggest unit is rated for around 700hp at the crank ? http://www.rotrex.com/media/2422dbda...38%20Range_pdf |

This kit won't be for those who want 800whp or anything but should be good to a little over 650whp with E85. Awesome street/strip kit! |

Yes the largest Rotrex 38-81/91 unit maxes out at 750 ish Crank Hp we have seen typical numbers in the 525-650rwhp range depending on supporting mods, a couple things where the /kraftwerks kit with a rotrex unit is different than a procharger or Vortech #1 extremely cool intake air temps ---- average temps are 155 degrees at the intake manifold. no risk of water cooler leaking and causing damage. #2 very efficient ---- the Rotrex head units are very efficient compared to the other 2 brands listed above that is why a smaller shape head unit can make more power that its counter part (stage 1 comparison) #3 designed for daily driving ----- streetable car with weekend track power. our kit was designed to be a daily driver #4 maintenance --- lowest maintenance of any kit 3 years or 50,000 miles between services #5 built to look good--- As you can see with our kits they are designed for both function and looks good as for the head unit size limitations we will have larger Kraftwerks head units available early 2018. Thank you Mark Stafford Kraftwerks Sales Team |

It's always good to have more kit available, but this one sounds like it would be pushed too hard on this sort of application. |

That is the max IAT's. Will be lower of course in cooler weather and when not tracking it. Many other kits people are seeing 170+ IAT's.
This blower is perfect for a mild boost 550-650whp kit. |

Installed this Kraftwerks Kit in May 2016 on my 2014 2SS/1LE. It has been running now for 40k miles (65k Kilometers). Smallest pulley (75mm)
Base tuned by Ted, upgraded with headers, high RPM cam (SMOOTH IDLE ROAD RACE SPECIALfrom Ted), 200 HJS cell cats. Running on LPG, double injectors, 2 pump system. Only downside was a broken belt, caused by the wrong pulley provided by Kraftwerks. Great customer service! No discussions - they send me the correct pulley + new belt + free shipping to Germany. Final setup was done here in Germany on the dyno. Checked the power 4 days ago again: Result are still 671hp @ crank, 580 rwhp. Iīm more than satisfied with the supercharger and the customer service - did not expect such a service 1,5 years after purchase. And donīt forget, Iīm sitting here in Germany, far away Hope this helps to make a decision. I think itīs very healthy for the LS3 engine and a long lasting setup for the daily driver. No temp. issues, some track days and no trouble. Stays absolute cool. Total milage is now 70k miles. P.S.: Radleistung = rwhp, Motorleistung = crank hp. Torque 752 Nm = 555 ft lb. For security reasons we limited the rpm to 6.450. 7.000 rpm rpm red line are possible which means it goes beyond 600 rwhp... Last edited by nidecker; 11-29-2017 at 04:47 PM. |

Will this kit work on an L99 or do I need to convert over to LS3 stuff for this kit to work?
