Tools for DIY cam swap for L99
Hi
I will be doing a VVT cam for my L99, at the same time will be deleting the AFM, replacing the springs and upgrading the trunnions at the same time I've done a few overhauls before(none on GM V8s though), and all were on engine stands What-other than handtools- will I need to perform the job easily with engine in the car? as a start, the Crane cams valve spring compressor looks like a good investment Waiting for your suggestions Thanks in advance |

Start at post #68. I did heads, cam, timing chain, lifters and super charger. You'll see all the tools I used. Goes to about page 15. Also ck out RobertWays ls3 cam install. It is THE guide for cam swaps.. -Don
