BENT upper front shock mount!!! Anyone seen this before???

Hi all,
I have original Pfadt coilovers on my SS and I was cleaning the engine bay and saw this! The shock tower mount is bent!!! Anyone else have this issue and can it be fixed/corrected???

Hit any big potholes and bottom out the suspension?

I was flying down a road and it had a nasty bump BUT I didn't think it would cause that !

Those are very thin plates that obviously did not like the bump you hit.

Literally pound the actual tower back in shape and see if they will replace your strut mount / camber plate.

Ouch that looks rough, since its thin metal I would just try to hammer it back into shape.

Cover it with a microfiber or two and hammer it back down.

Hammering will straighten the tower. There is no if about that. The camber plate has to be replaced.

The permanent fix is a thicker plate.
