If you think a 6th gen is cramped scope out Graham Rahal in an Indy car.

I had one for two different weekends and absolutely loved the exhaust mode options (sport being best of course) and the push pull shifter on the A8. i wrote in my review that I hope the A8 is solid because I manually shifted the ENTIRE time I had her.

Going from a 5th to a 6th I am glad I upgraded, IMHO this 6th is what we whish the 5th had and offered. As for looks IMHO GM hit a home run inside and out I was not sure how they could improve a 5th which still looks great but the 6th is just more refined.

I'm surprised I'm 6'2" and had no issues with adjusting my seat and having all the room I need. In fact I don't even have the seat all the way back.

No Sir, there a lot of people who love the new looks.

Thanks for the review. I personally think that a comparison of typically modded gen5 to a stock gen6 is a great topic for a review. Thanks for taking the time to share.

If that was the loudest mode that's definitely what I stayed in. Loved the constant rumble and pop!

I was too and I'm 6'1". I don't run my 2015 seat with it all the way back. I may run the back a bit high to get the wheel where I want it. Don't like driving with my arms stretched out. If I had my way I'd make the wheel telescope even further but I imagine they had limits on how far they could build that in for the airbag. I tried to adjust the 2017 I sat in with the same relations as my 2015 and my head hit the roof. Kept pushing the down button looking for a little more and it just wouldn't give it.

This may just be lame justification but I like the hood line on the 5th gen better anyway. The 6th looks more like a 'Vette hood and I've never been much of a fan of those. 1st and 2nd gen 'Vettes are good looking but none of the subsequent generations did anything for me. 6th Gen Camaro blue is also not my preference. It's nice but to light for my taste.

The dual-mode exhaust is a fantastic option it's probably one of my absolute favorite things about the car and I have the V6 with the Dual mode sounds ridiculous hopefully GM keeps that exhaust for future generations of Camaro

I rented one in AZ back in April. I was duly impressed with how it pulled at WOT. It felt lighter to me too. I suppose because it is! You may have seen my post about the console hitting my knee over on the 6th Gen side. I was run out on a rail over there for having the unmitigated gall to diss their car! But I honestly came away with an even greater appreciation for my 2015.

I'm 6 ft tall and 250lbs so the Gen6 felt too tight to me. When I sat in the Gen5, it was just perfect so that's what I went with. Maybe if I drop 60lbs???

joe..

Hey Joe just letting you know I'm 6.2 and 250 so slightly bigger than you bro and I fit fine on my 6th gen I just need to have the seat slammed all the way back and then told her down towards the floor and life is good

the head room thing, could it be that the power seats are the issue? maybe the powerless height adjuster would sink lower?
that is what I have, but I'm not 6' and I have tons of room
