Hey my dealer says that he is being charged already for the camaro I am buying but it is still not delivered. I was wondering if this is in fact true and why. He is not billing me, marking it up, or anything of that nature . My guess is that the car is in limbo somewhere but do you think he should know where it is or is he just pulling me around a bit? Thanks in advanced for any help.

PS: Just FYI the car is already built in case you were thinking he wasn't telling me the truth.

Being charged as in on his floor plan?

Yea he said they (the dealership) are being charged for it because it was invoiced last week.

Actually this is typical. The dealers normally receive the invoice 1-2 weeks before the car actually gets delivered. They should have your car by friday at the latest.

If you are getting stripes add 10 days from the day it was built before it will ship.

Your dealer is telling the truth. My dealer has been asking all Camaro orders to come and do their paper work once he's invoiced. Everybody so far has done it to help the dealer out on fees. That's how close my dealer and his customers are. We all look out for each other. It's almost old school and it rocks!!
