I have the QTP on my Foose Mustang. At an idle or moderate throttle, they sound great. (Car is Cammed with a SC and other mods) WOT sounds a little like a log truck. I purchased the oval ones to help with ground clearance issues which worked out well. Keep in mind that the oval ones are weld in only. The round ones are easier for the DIY where you can also opt to get the Y pipes.
Downside... The Foose is mostly show only and may get driven a few times a month on weekends, mainly to shows or to go get coffee on a Sat morning to keep the battery charged. I had them for less than a year and had to replace one already. I originally thought it was carbon build up but after cleaning it and testing it, found the gears were bad inside the motor. When using these, count to yourself for 5 seconds (or listen carefully to the cutout motor running) and the cutout should have run to its stop one direction or the other. Don't over run these. When I bought mine, I also bought the wireless controller which I wound up not using. I still have it in the box if you are interested. I decided to just have the switch hardwired into the console. It is easy to get to and out of the way. For me, that was the easiest option.

NOWEEDS hands down is the best quality cutout/diverter. They stand behind their product, if you ever have an issue they will get you worked out quickly.

Physical spacing and of course Price was a consideration for me also. QTP is about half the price of the NOWEEDS brand.

Probably not, 10 cents and 100 dollars are pretty far apart. I usually go from lowest price to highest too so they'd have a pretty big gap. And they wouldn't show up in the same search ya know

Oh, I'm sorry you've never used one of the most popular sites in history. I think install at a shop is 1-2 hours, so $200 total for something that is purely for fun seems like a better deal than 500+.
