Need help: P0306 code
So, I just get my car back this week from having my new clutch installed. I was told to baby it for 500 miles during the break-in-period, so that's what I have been doing. I took it for a short drive yesterday and started to notice a rough idle. This went on for a little bit and then the check engine light came on followed by the Service Stabili Trak notification. I ran a diagnostic check and it came back with a P0306 code.
It was suggested to check the plug wire for my #6 cylinder which I did. I pulled it and everything looked fine and made sure I did not have a loose connection. I started the car up afterwards and sure enough the check engine light is still on and has a rough idle. Any other suggestions? I would really like to self diagnose the issue and fix it myself before I have to take this in and spend $$$. FYI... The car is supercharged and has 14,000 miles. Has never had an issue. I have the ZR1/CTS-V plugs. I can't remember exactly what plug that is. I am also running Taylor 409 wires.

Taylor plug wires are garbage. Throw those away. I had a set on the wifes car. 4 of them were not crimped inside at all

Garbage or not, they don't seem to be my issue. I am trying to eliminate one thing at a time. Wire checked out. I just picked up a new plug. Next will to check the coil if this does not work.

Did you check the plug itself? Swap wires?

I replace the plug. That was the ticket. The car is idling perfect now.
