Boost numbers.

I have a 2.85 Metco upper and an 18% lower, what is a reasonable number that I should for boost numbers? 13psi sound right? I've searched and all I ever find is the chart for upper and lower pulley combo and SC RPMs.

do you have a cam or headers? if so those will effect the boost level as well. but there is really no exact answer because every car is different, that's the reasoning for the sc rpm chart because that will be the same on every blower.

Did you buy the car with all the mods, or have you done them over time as you have owned the car???If you bought it modded I would suggest that you get it to a performance shop ASAP to find out what mods you have specifically...You didn't mention any fueling mods and that is a concern...

I've built this over time, And yes have the BAP.

I'm putting down 637 to the wheels. and was thinking my boost should be a little higher than 13psi. However this is spot on.

nothing wrong with having lower boost numbers, that just means its flowing better which is a good thing!!! I also have a btr stage 3 cam, 2" kooks headers, 2.5 9.1 pulley combo and am at 13 psi.

I am getting over 13 psi with an 18% lower stock upper, ported snout and TB, 1 7/8 headers no cats, free boost mod. Just added AEM water meth inj using the med nozzle and -20 washer fluid. Now 13 psi shows at a lower rpm on My dash logic, it only shows whole numbers. I am using the JRE 125 tune + torco tune, Not using torco today just water inj. The car is way more torque. Seat of pants. I constantly monitor KR and set the start for water inj at 5 psi and full on at 10 and there is no KR anywhere. I am near sea level here with the fresh oxygen filled pacific air. No wonder I feel so great. not to mention that I am the KING of the streets is this locality. I like this feeling of SUPERIORITY I kick Hell Cats asses with ease on the streets and highways. I have the Escort radar laser defense built in system and that is the only reason that I am not in jail.

i feel sorry for your street scene if you're king of the streets with a 125 package from jre lol, no offense to you i'm not bashing you but 650whp is the norm where i live but there are a couple 1300 whp supras and gtr's running around along with an 8 second evo :p

HAHA, you took the words right out of my mouth. My high 10sec car is slow around here. Plenty of TT'd/SC'd Stangs and Vettes running around on the streets here that are in the mid to low 9s...or even 8s and look really stock. I watched a Street Car Takeover event at the local track and was put in my place. I guess my properly set up bypass value needs to be re-calibrated to the "free boost mod" for some more free PSI.

Sam, I am pushing 13 PSI though most of the RPM band and 14 PSI Peak with a 10" lower 28% OD for your reference. Very similar to you but with a stock cam.
