ZL1 Front Bumper - V6 (LS,LT,RS)

Im in the market for a ZL1 front bumper and am wondering where everybody got theirs! I have mostly seen Phastek, Gen5DIY, and Garys. I would like to hear what everybody suggest! Also, I feel it would be convenient to have it pre-painted so its ready to install when I receive it. So whats yalls opinion on painting before it shipper to after? If you got it unpainted, where did you go to get it painted?

Gary did mine for my old 2010. Painted, cowl adjusted, delivered. Piece was perfect. About 20-30 minutes to swap.

I ordered all my parts directly from GM, got the bumper painted, and put everything together myself. Saved some good coin, but besides doing that, I'd also recommend Gary.

Gary did mine... painted to match perfectly. Shipped well protected on the inside with a foamy blue blanket, even though the outside box was in rough shape... not a scratch on her.

Expensive in my book... probably the 1 most expensive purchase on my ride. Got it with the top ZL1 grille as well that I think looks much better than the stock '10 cheap looking louvers.

Fit perfectly and love the look.

I recommend Gary if you want it pre-painted.

I did my ZL1 bumper swap last weekend.

All GM parts. The kit I ordered from eBay for $599. Paint cost $365 and I ordered the ZL1 bumper absorber for $120 from GMPartDirect. The hood vent is custom-made by a local shop called Driveway Labs and was $250.

I re-used my factory SS emblem, DRLs and bowtie and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Got all of my parts straight from GM and had my local collision shop paint-match everything. You definitely don't need to have it painted by a shop, but that'll ensure that the shades match (between the bumper and the rest of the car). It was more expensive compared to going the aftermarket route, but I'm just personally more comfortable going with OEM parts. Regardless, one of the best mods you can go with!
