If am expecting delivery in Raleigh NC where does the rail line drop off and the trucking company take over? Right now the car has reached Greenwood SC, is that the drop off Point?

Looks like your car is traveling on CSX. Greenwood is the last yard before Columbia SC. Columbia has the closest unloading terminal to Raleigh.

so far it has taken 2 weeks to get this far. Seems kind of slow but could be worse.

Anyone know how long it takes a rail car to get from Selkirk, NY to Doremus, NJ. Help is appreciated.

Ok, for those of you who are anxiously awaiting a response to this question, I'll answer it myself. The car left at 5:13 AM on the Sept 29. It arrive in Doremus at 6:20 PM the same day. I checked this morning, and as of 8:30 it has been placed in Industry.

Roughly 13 hours to travel about 150 miles. 11.5 mph average speed.

Looks like our cars are on the same train. I was wondering if Greenwood was the final stop as well. I guess i will have to wait for it to get to Columbia. Why has it been in Greenwood for three days!

The way this has been moving so far I don't see it reaching my destination until the end of next week, 3 weeks on a train.

Three weeks sucks for time. I see tons of people getting theirs in less than a week. I was hoping when it got to Greenwood I would have it two days later. Now I am just hoping to have it by the end of next week

Well finally, after 5 days in Greenwood SC the car is on its way to Dixiana, SC and then trucked out. We are due for some good luck and hopefully we'll get trucked out quickly.
