Camaro 2014 Jerking and clunking

Hello guys,

Since we lack information and good chevrolet mechanics in sweden, i will ask you guys on this forum before i take it back to the dealership

Bascially i have a 2014 camaro LS3 SS

Mods :

Borla catback
Cold air intake

The problem i have is that i can hear the transmission clunk hard and several times when shifting from 1-2-3
Even when im at a stop and i pull the clutch up and then stomp it right back the car clunks ( not once but several times )

This clunking happends aswell when i let the car cruise at 1st or 2nd gear, the car then starks to jerk and the clunking is loud.

Any information or help and some advice please!!

Have you had the car for long? Is this a new issue? The Camaro has an irs with a two piece drive shaft. If you are new to this, it can be alarming. Shifting and slow rolling at low rpm tends to cause this to hapoen. But, if you are concerned....definately take it in.

I bought the car 2 weeks ago.
What do you mean by alarming? What can i check?

Ive been reading on forums about the drive shaft, bolts etc etc.
I havnt check under the car if anything is loose yet

By alarming I meant. ..it can be a strange feeling if you have not experienced driving a manual with a two piece drive shaft...at least on GM vehicles. They tend to feel sloppy. There have been issues with bolts coming loose. ..but that was on earlier models.

The drivehaft on the Camaro SS Manual has a Giubo on each end. It is like a big puck-rubber-band that stores energy and absorbs torque stress to allow flex and lower chances of things breaking when dealing with the high power engine.
When they are unloaded during shifting gears, etc. they can release lots of energy which makes clunking noises in the driveline and transmission.
Also causes bouncing/rocking and surging forces when driving at slow speed. Is that what you are noticing?
Same as you I also have the 2014 LS3 Camaro SS. It took me about a month of driving before I was able to adjust my shifting in everyday driving for the Giubo and type clutch used in the Camaro.
