Question about the MP3 player and IPOD port

ok- this may sound stupid-- but first question- The 2ss will play MP3 discs right?

Second question- I have an IPOD nano- so I can use it-- but it's like 1.5-2 years old- so it may not be compatible- so if i got like a flash drive or sd card and just put music on it--- would it play through the direct connect? Or do you have to do something special to it?

Thanks!

About the iPod: It should work. I have a 1st generation Nano and it works fine.

The mini isn't supported, so you're going to see some weird behavior with it connected. I think iTunes changed how it puts songs onto an iPod at some point, so any songs that you put on after that change probably won't be recognized by the vehicle. You could just use a memory stick and get the same experience that you're getting right now, but with the newer songs.

ok so do I just buy a flash drive or a memory sick or what exactly? How does it plug into the port and do I just put the music on the drive and it plays- or do you have to do something special to it? Thanks!
