2.92 Rear Axle Seal
Noticed the passenger side rear axle seal on my 2015 Camaro with 2.92 open differential is leaking. Only 27k on the car.
Anyone had this issue or hear of it? Any issue driving it like this until I can get it in to the dealer to be warrantied?

Keeping fluid in it you could drive it like that indefinitely. The key is the fluid. The quicker the repair though,the better.

So I had an appointment at 8am this morning to get this seal changed at Pinkerton Chevrolet in Lynchburg, VA.
They took the car and 20 minutes later came and found me in the waiting room... told me they "had to order the part." The service writer then proceeded to tell me that they put RTV around the seal to prevent any further leaking in the meantime. I was shocked that he said that but didn't press the issue... Hopefully get it repaired by the end of the week. Going on the trip of a lifetime from Lynchburg, VA to Sacramento, CA. Don't want to have to worry about it on the road. 2,700 miles. Good thing its only one way.
