If it is a marker, rubbing alcohol should do the trick and it should not do anything to the paint. In fact rubbing alcohol is what those music cd cleaners use as the cleaning solution so it should be totally safe.

I'm pretty sure if that was my car I'd be trying to get that shit off before posting to a damn forum! But since you need help with this use gasoline, it will take it off.

Exclamation

I work in an office and sometimes I accidentally use my permanent marker (Sharpie) where I should be using dry erase. I found out I can use the dry erase to actually erase the permant marker. Works like a charm every time!!! Try a small spot first and use a lighter dryerase marker like a yellow that way you can see what youve done then just wipe with a dry cloth. Hope it works for you.

Pure lemon oil. you can buy it at any health food store. It will remove anything gooey, tree sap, marker, pen, etc... Very cheap and harmless. no scrubbing, just rubbing with your finger.

I don't get it, why would the mark on a rim with a marker like that? Man you may want to park that car somewhere else if you can, and invest in some wheel locks!!

Plain old rubbing alcohol should also take it off.

magic eraser would work, or, try a dry-erase marker. go over the old mark and wipe it away immediately. it works on a dry erase board, but i would test it out on some inconspicuous surface first
