Shortly after that picture was taken our Chihuahua Sugar became partially paralyzed, the vet worked with her for over a week but showed no improvement. She could not use the bathroom on her own. So we had to make the hard decision again. They determined she had suffered a spinal injury, probably from jumping off the bed or couch.

It's so hard when you lose a pet. It's the worst part of making them
a member of you family. Murphy died 8/01/13.... Seems like yesterday.

We have lost too many in the last year and a half. It's always hard.
We took Yogi for his first grooming today.

Sorry to hear. I often worry about that with mine especially now that she is getting older.

We adopted her from the shelter!!

She wasn't in great shape. She had worms in her stool and kennel cough.

They also neutered her or whatever it's called for female dogs so she was in pain and not feeling great.

So she's still recovering from a vet visit that fixed her cough and worms, on top of her surgery.

She was a bit constipated from the pedigree dog food as well... so that wasn't fun. Vet recommended metamucil for her in small doses and that seemed to fix it with a much better quality dog food.

Poor thing, I feel bad keeping her caged up but the vet said to let her be in there for a few more days until her wound heals and then she can go back for a final bath and she's free!!

It's an awesome feeling rescuing her from that pos shelter. She's a good dog and she'll be much happier

This is my fiance and I's first dog. So any tips would be greatly appreciated !!

I Have 3 cats and all are rescues jameis (black SH mix tabby) was first rescued in 2014 and was named after you guessed it, jameis Winston.

Second, is my Maine coon mix, max. I adopted him with a then GF but has lived with me since.

Last, is my tabby, Christina. She was found on the streets of a rural area in bad condition. I offered to foster her but ended up keeping her. I can't imagine not having a home without pets. They truly are family.

Cute dog! Working at a vet I would recommend either royal canin or science diet. Purina one is also a good brand that's a little more cost friendly.

Hope she's feeling better soon.
