Best rear Drag radials

What's the best Drag radial combo. For a 2011 2ss Camaro. Using 17'r 18' rims, with which drag radials. Thanks

Hoosiers have done well too but I don't know their sizes without looking.

Though I don't have personal experience with Hoosier DRs. A friend had them on his C6. MT ET R 60' was 1.21, Hoosier DRs was 1.3+.

He couldn't burn up the Hoosiers fast enough so he could switch back to the MT.

60's of course are dependent on power / combos etc but I've had local friends run good with MT's and Hoosier DR2s.... 1.40-1.45 on motor.

You never know until you spend the money, put them on your car and line it up.

If you can I would reccomend 17's with the Hoosier drag slick. Heard nothing but good things about that set up, plan on going that route as soon as I put on my d1x.

Common wisdom: slicks for sticks and DRs for autos. But definitely agree with the 17s. 15s if you want to really spend some money.

I've run both, my best 60 so far is on 28x17 Hoosier slicks. But I've have friends do even better locally at the same track with the same slicks and also with MT and Hoosier drag radials.

Best is relative to needs and wants as well as expectations and budget.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.
