Congrats 570, glad your reunion is coming sooner than later. The excitement must be at an all time high. I will be flying in to Fort Wayne late on Thursday and visiting with LPE on Friday, sounds like there might be a possibility to meet one of the LPE brothers.

I didn't want to drive it home from LPE, wanted to ship via Fed-ex, but I can't pass up the opportunity to have Pete from Pedders work his magic on my little RJT. Couldn't be in better hands for that part of the transformation.

Ever done 140+ in an AMC pacer? was funny when we passed a mustang GT that didn't have anything left and we were puling away from him. Passed the buick GS 455 that was with us as well, and was leading. That fishbowl got respect after that drive... for a inline six it did pretty OK. We didn't know HOW fast we were going..the speedo only went to 85, but we were leading, until we drove past where we were supposed to exit the highway on the way to the drags. The crew still talks about that trip, 20 years later.

Ya, I could cannonball with ya junkie. Give me a GPS so I don't get lost though.

OK Boys..some good news here. Looks like the Little 570 RJT that could is moving from the big screen at the drive in (thanks Windy) to front and center doing an autograph signing in public.

I saw a post from Rob at Wretched Motorsports looking for a Camaro to install a complete Pedders Extreme Track II suspension (this coming sunday) at their Oct 4th event. The little RJT will be the STAR attraction getting it's suspension reworked by the Pedders wizard (JusticePete) himself!

I still need to speak with Tim at LPE to get the date for completion.. He was saying mid to late this week. Looks like I might get to drive it quicker than I was expecting.. I misjudged weekends.. I am probably going to fly out to LPE and drive it back so I can make this event on Sunday.

It's 758 miles according to mapquest.. I have driven that far overnight before.. Can you say mini cannonball run?

570 - That is awesome that you are havin Pedders install their Extreme Track II stuff!! The ride home won't be bad when you are driving that baby. I dare you not to step on it....hahahha. I can't wait to see more

Bad part is I need to drive from LPE (Decatur Indiana) to Westfield Massachusetts with the stock suspension. It is only 758 miles. I also have to pay the Indiana Sales tax of 7%. Was hoping to ship it, but it won't make the date if it ships. How come Fed-ex doesn't overnight cars? LOL

The rest is all GOOD once it gets to Wretched Motorsports for the Sunday Transformation!

Should be a pretty easy drive though.. I will have 2 days to get there. It'll give me some time to bond with the car. I should get a taste of the stock suspension before it gets reworked.

It's like the engine...

NO GOING BACK AFTER IT'S DONE... not that I would want to go back...
