I must admit that the Porsche Panamera, with 4 doors, DOES look kick ass sporty. I bow to that design.

It does it for me, to me it not only is fast it also looks fast if you were to take the time to look.

I looked at one in person last night at my local car show. Don't get me wrong, the car is freaking beautiful. I loved the wheels, the Brembo brakes, the slot on the side, and the inside seats were eye-catching. Lots of room in the back seat, so I get what they were going after with the design. I guess that's the only part, FOR ME, that gives it that "family" look, which is what it is. It's a higher car and has a large rear seat area. Great for the passengers, no doubt. Please don't take me as putting it down, I love that you have both! I wish I could trade in my standard Malibu for an SS. I guess they didn't design a 2 door model since they figured the Camaro took care of that crowd. All my best.

I've owned over 40 Porsches and you couldn't Give me a Panamera - I think they are the Ugliest Car to hit the Market. Yes, I think a Pontiac Aztek looks better!

Well, sure, in comparison to other Porsches. I was looking at it on it's own, AND FOR A FOUR-DOOR, I think it looks pretty cool. "For a Four-Door."

The Chevy SS is a great car but when you get near the $50k price point, there's a lot of competition. I know it is somewhat unique as a rear drive V8 platform, but at that price point most people care less about those specifics and are more interested in how fast it goes and how much status it conveys.

It's a bargain compared to a M5. Problem is, it looks it.

And it REALLY needed a better name. There is an "SS" of just about every model, so just "SS" makes no sense. Impala SS. Ok, people get it.

so much hate on this car haha. I enjoy it more than my Camaro. know people will hate me for that. But it just drives and handles better. Best daily I've had in awhile. My Camaro to me is just a straight line car and i'm fine with that.

I find it to be quite humorous when people get heated over subjective topics.

I would get the Charger 392 before I would get an SS at least it has some style and does not look like every other car and has more HP and a better price, when you see a Charger on the road you can tell what it is.
I don't need to worry about getting one in Ont. though as they are not sold north of the border.

I'm waiting til after the 1st to see if GM applies any rebates for the SS, cause they aren't offering anything right now, whats another couple of days, especially if they offer the 20% off that many think will happen.

I drove a SRT8 charger and a SS. I have a 09 Charger Daytona and of course my 13 Camaro SS.

The charger is bigger, the Charger has more HP (srt8), but the driving...the SS feels like its on rails, its more nimble. The Charger is and feels much bigger.

Plus everyone knows/has/recognizes a Charger. The SS is much more rare.....unique.

So for me...its a SS. Plus I already have a Charger in the stable....

I would want a Stick and that to me is why a SS Wins. I like that the SS is under the Radar
