Mine doesn't show anything for EGR. That's a weird one.

I have VVT and auto, that is why it's there. GM uses EGR system for VVT, but with the new cam, it's not needed at all as nothing is reported. To fix that, I had Ryan use EFI Live...

The screenshot you see from EFI Live is my existing tune...

Hmm. Ok, I gotcha Sarah's car is VVT. A quick readiness test just shows incomplete on hers. I guess that is the same as "not ready" ?? Her stock tune file has all EGR DTC's set to no error reported. From what I've read it's built into the grind of the vvt cam itself and no physical valve. Just trying to wrap my head around it. Lol

Incomplete is not ready. In Texas, 2 not ready means fail. She is in the same boat as me if you can only have one not ready. So no egr system with new cam. Set it to not supported, problem solved... I have EFI Live coming so I can resolve the no EGR present by setting it to Not Supported... LS3 and LSA don't have that ;o)

Here is my 93 tune that was correct (before the updated blower from Jokerz, ID850s, and Corn):



Notice {C1110} EGR System Monitor? It's set to 'Not Supported', which is the correct setting....

That is what I need for this tune -- and EFILive can do that for me...

Not sure how it was set to enabled, as you can see, it was off...

Well dang it. We don't have emissions testing here. So, I've never had reason to be concerned about that. I would like for hptuners to resolve that tho. Maybe I'll send in a request.

The tune already had the DTC's off -- still shows Incomplete (Not Ready). The final piece was the Not Supported...

I read both, and I think the first link may make sense -- its different from the second it appears...

Same here -- trying to find it in HP Tuners -- looks like they don't support that, wonder why?

Seems like a TON of folks want to handle this the correct way...

Probably should set to NO MIL the 2 that have MIL and not reported.

I looked at all the various ways folks did a flowtie for the 10-13 grill (SS). I finally decided to do one, but a bit differently.

First, got a bowtie for the 11. Using a dremel, open up the bowtie, then using gutter guard, created a screen. I then 'cut out' a section of the grill so I could have an air dam straight to the oil coolers:





Using a water based silicone (like we did for the hex vents), glued it onto the flats I had for the bowtie (on the flowtie, I used a black sharpe to 'hide' the lighter color plastic -- you can't tell!):



Let it dry, took it for a spin! Worked great and now, I have a great directed airflow to the oil coolers:







I tried the bowtie delete, but didn't like the looks and, it still blocked air...

It hit 101° and on the highway, my temps were:

Max temps (some got lower later):

IAT2 : 120°
Trans: 163°
Oil: 224°
Coolant: 194°

that is not bad! In traffic (@ a light) coolant never got over 204° -- that's in 101° temps!
