Op your paddles will activate in D as well as M. To correct your problem change your hand positioning on the wheel. In 4 yrs I havnt hit the paddles accidently. Its all you my friend.

Then he or she could go to some web site such as http://www.chevrolet.com/ and download the manual.

I find the PDF much easier to search than the paper version.

AS mentioned above the PRNDL (pronouneced per-nand-all) will not allow a driver to make a mistake.

All bets are off with a TR6060 though. That becomes the per-end-all.

I take it you never heard the saying before, it was in jest. Kinda like the saying, when all else fails use a bigger hammer. BTW chevy.com under Owners and download the manual... Not that difficult.

Is that a V6 only thing? My paddles only activate in M mode.

Not me. My paddles are only active in M mode. They do nothing if I am in D mode.

Must have been a later model year change.

Because you have a 2010, the paddles didn't work in drive until 2012 I think it was.
