Oil catch can recommendations.
Greetings,
I'm new to the Camaro owners world, looking to add a catch can to my '15 2SS automatic. I ordered a Mishimoto in late May, never shipped after repeated checks on shipping times and was finally told they're on back order until mid August? Really? I cancelled order. So, I look at Elite Engineering can, looks to be fairly decent. From what I can tell they don't come plug and play like a Mishimoto. Many different options you can use. Braided, non braided lines, different types and quality of components all around etc etc. Question, any opinions, thoughts on which one is better? Any other types I should look at? I noticed the ad by Mishimoto running on this page, I clicked on it and it said the can was designed for a manual? Why would that matter? I bought an automatic because the wife said she wanted to drop the top and drive it sometimes down here in Fla... reason I didn't get a manual. Well, she doesn't like to drive it so I only drive it now....such as life. Any and all thoughts and opinions are welcome...Thanks |

Contact BCS Auto on facebook or on their website:
https://www.facebook.com/OfficialBCSAuto/ http://www.bcsauto.com/ They gave me the following recommendation since I am not planning on forced induction or supercharging: Elite E2 with clean side separator with OEM fuel hoses Personally, I am interested in the black or even stainless hoses, but that is purely aesthetics. They respond fast like many of the vendors you see here, but I just want to buy from them due to how well they work with you to help you get what you want. They sell based on their experience and what they put on their cars. I promise, they are worth messaging. |

Elite is the best but you pay for it. I had it on my 13 V6 and was amazed at what it caught. I plan on buying one for my SS when funds allow me to do so.

Elite! I track my fluid caught between oil changes. Confirms my investment all the time.

Elite is great. The automatic L99 has a different location for the port where you hook up the inlet. You can see it in the video below.
