Talk to a shop that does turbo, supercharger, meth, nitrous installs. Explain what your goals are and let them guide you through the options. Andy at ADM comes to mind.

Very mild tune.

Right now i've got about 580hp crank and 495 to the wheel. with this setup and with a aggressive tune i'd say 600-620hp but right now the tune is very mild.
I'm considering a supercharger but would like advice from others who have either done this or know others who have done this to their LS3 camaro.

I'm thinking an SLP supercharger and about 10-12psi. But I want to be super sure about doing this before I ever decide to take any course of action with Forced Induction as I know I still have lots to research.
Blakells,
three years ago, I put a supercharger on my 2008 Mustang V6 AT. While I am not a mechanic, I bought a SC kit from a small company in California. The gearheads at work assured me if I took my time (having shown them the PDF plans before plunging) I should be okay, they being familiar with my abilities.
Over the course of five days, the heavy work was complete. I was warned by an engineer not to turn the key without the canned tune sent by email. This is extremely important as you could damage your engine. Once I took her to the Pro Shop for the custom tune, she ran like a champ. Went from 210 hp to nearly 350 hp!
Blakells, if you truly want a supercharger, I say go for it. This is the most fun I ever had with an automobile.
A couple of things: look to upgrade your engine pulley with a high quality one. The gearheads on here know what I am talking about.
Take your time and do a lot of research before buying.
Cost will include special tune, a new pulley (as mentioned), plugs, etc.
Make sure the proper fuel grade is in your tank.
Your gas mileage will diminish (who cares, you have a supercharger).
Your face will literally hurt from the smile on your face.
Research. Research. Research.

good luck,
JKHolman

Maggie TVS2300

Turbos have come a long way but piping for the average joe can be quite complex. Like an idiot, I never even considered this option when looking for forced induction. I'm not sure I would have gone a different route but I can tell you the fastest guys on the 1/4 mile track are running big turbos. Same year car as mine with a huge single turbo is pushing 1,000 HP. Guys are getting big numbers out of the Vortex units as well. When I shopped for my SC Camaro5 was the source for a ton of info and all my reading pointed towards the TVS 2300. Maintenance free, you can spin it really fast, fits under the hood nicely and there's a reason why a ton of aftermarket companies repackage the unit and sell it in their kits. I have come a long way since that original install and I'm very pleased with my car. I drive it on the HPDE tracks and the grunt of a supercharger is instantaneous and manageable coming out of corners. Plus on stoplight runs it jumps faster than turbo cars.

All that being said this can get addicting. You'll want a smaller pulley just because of your current mods. Go too small and you'll need a beefed up tensioner, heck you may even need an 8 rib or a 10 rib belt setup. If your tuner says you can spin a 3.2, just go with the overdrive cog on the rear. You may even save some money and have Magnuson build it with that on it.

Maxing out the blower will require extra fuel so the zl1 pump is a sure thing, possibly methanol as well oh and don't forget the fuel pump control module. If I could change one thing from day one on my build, I would have over-bought my fuel pump. My tuner told me nah, that twin pump is overkill. Well here I am now running 1000cc injectors on E85 and wishing I had bought that pump. Oh and cut the hole under the seat. Dropping the rear cradle is totally nuts when you see how easy that trap door is and you'll NEVER see it.

Good luck with your decision, I'm pretty pleased with mine. 675 RWHP.

We do a lot with the V2, G8 and SS Sedan guys and the results I see with ported LSA has me convinced. When you see cars running 9.0 with in car builds and no nitrous, defiantly the way I would go. Nothing wrong with turbos we support them too. This full build is 1000+ at the wheels with twin 76mm no trunk tank. It stayed under 100deg IAT tuning with many hours on the Dyno with just our 19” Chiller no H/E and custom intake.

You'll have to talk to a builder, to find out what current parts will carry over going with boost. You may have to downgrade before you can upgrade, if that makes sense.

Intake is on back side going direct to Turbos since the W2A intercooler is internal. Impressive build with great results.
