Also- I will be driving from Little Rock, AR to pick my car up-- how long does it take to have the tint installed? Thanks!!!!!
Once it leaves Oshawa it has been taking 2-3 weeks to get here. about 45 minutes for tint!

I'm loving the time frame for tint. Hoping not much longer for stripes and powder coating bezels here. The latest I was able to plan my last vacation for the year was first week of December. The arrival is going to be so suspenseful and close it will be ridiculous. Really hoping I can take a 6 hour road trip during that vacation week so that I can show it off to my family and friends! I know it's under no one's control, just playing the violin here and really keeping my fingers crossed. C'mon GM, throw in some overtime opportunity for your workers before the Thanksgiving holiday!

Built on 8-12 delivered 8-21 from Bankston Chevy Fort Worth. 2 to 3 weeks, please! I have the paperwork to prove it.

I'm only a client, who has been to both Classic and Bankston. Classic is bigger, Bankston is better. Just my experience. ( I bought a '08 Tahoe and a '08 Silverado from Classic( got screwed), and a '10 Camaro SS/RS from Bankston) I'm telling ya, It's night and day difference.

There really are no discounts unless you are a GM employee or get a GMS discount through family. MSRP is a discount to most and that's why Classic Chevrolet rocks! Because they are not selling above retail and they have their act together in so many other ways. I would just compare your price to MSRP with your options and see what you come up with. You should know if you paid above MSRP or not when you placed your order though. Your order sheet should show that.

Who are you kidding? MSRP sucks! It may seem like a good deal when there are dealers out there that are asking over sticker because it's a "new" car. However, that "newness" will eventually go away. I know when I walk into a dealership, I never expect to pay MSRP for a new car. If I hadn't been getting my Camaro at Supplier pricing + the USAA discount, I wouldn't be buying right now!

With my current order status at Classic, it looks like my ride wont come in till after December 31st which means I'll lose the USAA rebate. I may have to start looking at vehicles on the ground elsewhere! The problem is, is that there aren't too many in DFW. So...I may have to start looking outside the metroplex.

I feel your pain big time and I completely agree about MSRP. I'm one who has NEVER paid MSRP so I relate to those thoughts entirely. I get GM employee pricing and even buying non-GM cars in the past, I have always paid well under MSRP.
Having said that, we all know this is a very hot item now and in huge demand, especially compared to the Mustang. Yes, demand will slow down, but buyers now can only do so much while the item is in huge demand. In that respect being able to buy it at MSRP such as at Classic is MUCH better than paying what some are elsewhere. It does help to have that no haggle price at a take it or leave it offer.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I "just" got my TPW of 10/19/09. About a week sooner than I was expecting. Hopefully, my signature will help you and others to see where you will fall down the line.
Also, I see that last batch of pictures didn't show the new rear parking assist sensors. I'm not sure if all the rear shots were of lower models, but I'm hoping to see the new look of the rear bumper on the next batch of cars that come in most likely.
