Hey... now you are talking my language. My lawnmower is a 30 HP Massey Ferguson tractor. I mow 2 1/2 acres of lawn in under an hour...

That, and I can drink a beer while rototilling the garden in the spring. It took 10 minutes to turn the soil - 100' X 35' Garden size. no sweating here to get it ready. We had so many veggies from the garden I fed everyone I knew and a lot of other people I didn't. I averaged 20-30 summer squash and Zucchini a week. Had so many cucumbers I lost count. We grew all kinds of stuff. I bet I had 200+ pounds of tomatoes. I'm not planting 30 tomato plants next year.. Gonna be more like 5. LOL

Cost for seeds: $28.00
Cost to plant the seeds and mow the lawn: $24,000
Cost for the 4 year old to see "her" plants grow: Priceless!

The winters are great I travel to Fargo about once a week for work and this last winter it was awesome... when they shut down the interstate and the wind is about blowing you off the road because of the ice...fun, fun. You would have plenty of time to mod in the winter, thats what I plan on doing.

Oh yeah - and Fargo just about flooded this last spring because of all the snow they had. Business was really slow because everyone was sand bagging. I mean, you shouldn't see more than a foot of snow at one time. I got stuck driving about 20mph on the interstate one time when I was driving my Speed6. Try driving for about 3 hours at 20 mph when you can barely see past the front of your car. Not alot of fun but then again I am pretty sure the cost of living is probably a little bit less around here also.

I'm very excited to meet you guys and tour Lingenfelter. It will be cool to see, hear, and maybe ride in your cars, then I can make the final decision what to do on my car. Also, can't wait to see RS-SS2's (AKA Hubby) as we sure miss her!!!!!!

Wahpeton is about 40 min south of Fargo and about 2 1/2 hours north of Sioux Falls. I have done some business with the college there. It is pretty easy interstate driving either way. I might have to check out the drag strip in Fargo sometime, I didn't know they had one. We have one about 20 miles from Sioux Falls in Marion, SD.

I'll bite.. snow is awesome!

We do Cannonball runs on snow!

I have a 1000 cc snowmobile - Artic cat thundercat. 190 HP and really fast!

It is a 10.5 second snowmobile in the quarter. don't know what the top end is, but it is scary fast. I havn't buried the throttle.. too much top end.
Been on radar runs on the big lake doing 140 - 145 and it still has 1/4 more throttle..it's Scary Fast!

We go up to Canada and ride a few hundred miles a day. Usually have at least one or two night runs. We had 18 guys on the last trip.. Everyone has fast sleds.

for snow you want the 4X4.

Otherwise, you need to add a ton of sand to the back. Pickups are just too light in the ass end.

If you are going to have a long driveway, you want a plow you can add to the truck - Fisher minute mount is quick to connect and drop from the vehicle. you definately need 4X4 for that. the 700 LB plow blade hanging out front makes the rear real light and you won't get traction in snow if it was 2wd.

Plowing snow is another fun thing to do in the winter.

You could probably get through most of the stuff with the 4X2 but I always love barreling through the snow in four wheel drive. You can definately get out and have some fun around here, if you like being outside. Thanks for the link to the track by Fargo also. I may even have to get up there this next weekend, it looks pretty good.
