Scotty,

Any word as to whether there will be what I call "little neat features" (features that are cool, other cars in this price range have them, but aren't completely neccessary).....

Remote or key in door operation of power windows/moonroof

Heated washer fluid or Rainsense wiper system (I remember seeing a spy pic of the interior from early Feb. and the camera was tilted up toward the rear view mirror, and there appeared to be the Rainsense sensor right behind the rear view mirror - my Mom's Lucerne has it, so I know what it looks like)

Full auto, one touch up and down, for both windows and moonroof

Heated seats on the leather package

Heated side view mirrors

Auto dimming rear view mirror

And finally, you mentioned that the car will come standard with power recliners on all models, even those with the manual driver seat adjustment. Does that incinuate some sort of new easy entry/exit system for the rear seat passengers?

Thanks.

Somewhere I read "Electrochromic MirrorS" were available. It was on the options page somewhere.

Electrochromic = electrically darkening

That sounds like they will have auto dimming exterior mirrors available as well. Very sweet.

Thanks.
Ellie made a post on the 1SS and 2SS packages and said the leather on the 2SS comes with heated seats and inferred that the leather on the 2LT would include heated seats as well, but that was not explicit.

CamaroScotty, (or anyone else)

I don't believe I've seen this question answered.

I want my Camaro and I want it NOW. That said, I will buy it next Spring when it comes out...but I want HUD. Now the question:

If I get the Camaro without HUD (but it will be the SS2 with RS..all options), will my dealer be able to install HUD into an existing car when it becomes available in December 09? Is it just the HUD? Or is it a special windshield too? Anything else special to make the HUD?

Thanks for checking into this for me.

I need to know the answer to this as well because I want the HUD in the worst way and if it comes out in under 2 years I'll be kicking myself for not waiting to get it.

I know on the 2LT or less vettes, there is a "place" for the HUD on the dash....can't say as if anyone has ever added it to a vette that I know of. It reflects into the standard windshield - so that's not an issue...the issue would be the price, install labor cost and any needed sensors etc....

Sounds like it may be promising. Is that something you could try to get an official answer from GM? It's my understanding it will be on production vehicles in Dec 09 (only 10 months after initial production). I would imagine all the mounting, etc. will be already set-up.

Sorry late to the Dance again Scotty.

I have to ask I'm just too darn busy to read every thread and every reply.

Bumble be Color? Is that one of the "Extra Cost" colors. Is there a Package?

Anything you can throw here?

I'd look to a bumblebee package coming out when T2 hits the screens next summer. As to what it includes? Who knows.

MAN!!!! I just re-read the first post to let the Dealer info sink in again, and I just noticed the HUD!!!!!! won't be available until 12/09 but I can't get mine until Sept or Oct of '09 anyway... I may just wait a few more months!
