We know what the issue was, and we have it figured out. Should be able to come back stronger and harder than ever

Oh!!!

Lost a piston at the track during one of my heats

Fixed it under warranty. Then the car wouldn't stay running. Kept throwing timing codes. Replaced all the timing parts

Still throwing codes

Dealer gave up and transferred to another dealership

The tech there got Got GM involved and they decided that during the piston repair that debris from the repair clogged an oil passage which wouldn't keep the timing tensioner working properly

Whole new engine. Under warranty.

Yes I'm still alive LOL. 2017 has been a rough year with 3 surgeries, a divorce in the works and wth, that ain't so bad. Now I can do whatever I want to my car

You got it! I had to remove my tunnel brace and had to clearance it as well. Fairly simple modification without having to make a whole new brace.

On a sidenote I'm pretty sure that we are still running the same exhaust, at least for now

but did you ever figure out a way to get rid of the rasp at 2700 RPMs are so ?

The only thing that I can think of is a tuning tubes. Just not sure where to put them under there

Are you gonna forge it this time Derek? It's one thing to do a couple quarter mile blasts with the supercharger, and a couple trips down to Mexico for fun, but pushing so hard on the track for an extended time, you really should look into going forged. Is that in the plans?
