Student Discount?

Anyone know what the requirements are to meet the Student discount? Also, how much is the discount and who pays for it? I’m assuming the dealer isn’t going to be out pocket…so who is? GM?

You will get the 'supplier price.' I got a 2LT and it knocked off about $1100 or so from the MSRP. I believe you have to have graduated within the past 4 years and provide proof of graduation (a copy of your degree, basically). That should be all you need.

I think it is 6 months before you graduate to a year after you graduate or something like that

The salesman threw it by me once and from what I remember it was that you had to be a current student or graduated within 2 yrs.

My main question is with current student status. Is there a certain number of hours that I have to be enrolled in? It's hard to take a lot of hours while working a full time job. Is there a minimum GPA or anything? What if my car comes in just after the semester is over, am I still considered a student since I was just in school?

CamaroScotty could probably answer that question. If it's good to current students too I'd like to know the specifics as well.

From https://www.exclusivegmoffer.com/ip-...udent_discount

Who is eligible to participate in the GM College Discount Program?

Eligible participants include college students (from any two- or four-year school), recent graduates who have graduated no more than two years ago, and current nursing school and graduate students. An eligible customer must produce one of the following:

1. Evidence of enrollment in an associate, undergraduate, nursing or graduate degree program.
2. A diploma dated no more than two years before the vehicle purchase or lease, from a four-year bachelor's degree, a registered nursing degree, a two-year associate's degree or a graduate degree program.

Can this be combined with the supplier discount, or since its basically the same thing its one or the other?

No double discount it's the same price. 6 moths before graduating and up to 2 years after. Can be used twice in that time span for 2 cars.

No. You can not combine discounts and you can not combine incentives. You can however have one discount and one incentive.

Grad Student price = Supplier price = Military price. It's not a discount, its a special price, so no can't be stacked.
