So, one of the upgrades we did was steam lines from the back of the heads to the front. Aaron designed a great way for me to add them. He added this:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-30600600 and we integrated it with the factory steam line since we needed the hose routing the factory setup gave us -- looks awesome and works fantastic -- I don't have pics of that unfortunately, but it gave me what I needed to vent the steam. Just another example of the thinking going on ;o) -Don

Steam Vents
![]() That idler fixed also makes the turn from the crank pulley alot better since you have the big ring. Very Nice man.....

Wonder where I got the idea for steam vents? 13.5 PSI -- I'd say it's breathing pretty well with the GMPP heads too! Powerful combo.. Gonna drive it today, change the oil, add the brake deflectors, have the ZL1 add ons wicker bill to do. TNiA is Tuesday, hoping my fuel module is here on Monday ;o)... Appreciate everyone following the journey... Ah the fun! -Don

Its like nothing I've ever driven... GPI said they think it's the highest HP LSA blower they've had in their shop.. even though we left some on the table... Time for a stroker in yours? I'm going to drive this as long as my brain and right foot can function ;o) Thanks! -Don

Funny you said that. Ryan and I did talk about that. For road racing, he suggested not doing it. For street/strip, can see it. E85 will handle the cylinder temps/knock so, I'll stick with that -- for now or until I change my mind ;o).
We both feel a post boost meth injection system would be the best if I did add it. I know of one system that does that, but it would replace the lid spacer. Hell, who knows, maybe one day... when the mod bug hits me again to push the limits... Thanks! -Don I tend to do that now and then...

This goes in the lid, and very well may be a great way to add meth post boost!

GPI LSA Build WOT Test
OK, bit busy today.
Did the 500 mile oil change -- drained BR30, put in DT40 (hit 98° today!). Re-torqued the sandwich bolt (I'm doing this every time I change the filter -- just to be safe), Installed the UPF48R oil filter (saved the old one so I can cut it open). Installed the replacement Aux Pump module from DSX -- used the 1 Bar Sensor with key on to test -- worked like a charm! I did add some connectors to the module, just in case I ever need to remove anything in the future (like for upgrades etc). Here is how I have it now: All good to go! Ran out of time for the ZL1 Stealth WickerBill and brake deflectors -- will have to do that one later. Took it out tonight for a few WOT tests... O-M-G -- @ 70 MPH -- did a burn-out when she went full throttle -- YIKES ![]() This thing is absolutely incredible -- now, I know folks have 1000 RWHP, but still, unbelievable.... seriously. Needless to say, the Aux fuel pump worked -- I monitored the fuel pressure to make sure -- stayed above 60 PSI so I know it was working well. BTW, there is always some concern about IAT2 temps when doing the pulley combo like I have. Let me just say IAT2 temps above ambient before the new engine: 18°-22° Now: 20°-28° -- yep, gained only 6° in IAT2 temps (while cruising)! ALL the temps are just fantastic -- When I go WOT, she cools down very fast, VERY fast, so the triple HXs, Air Dams, Lower Air box, Coolant mix, AND the lid spacer combined are doing their jobs! I did have to re-adjust my lower air dam after the new engine install (don't expect GPI to know what I did since I didn't tell them ;o), but it took about 10 minutes to update -- no biggie. oil pressure, engine coolant temps, trans temps, etc are just excellent. Trans temps during the WOT didn't go above 180° so that is a great sign. So, it looks like heat soak is managed pretty well with this combo of upgrades, can't complain about that! So, I have the TNiA on Tuesday so looking forward to that. Will probably put the #'s on before I leave, then, take them off when I get home. WickerBill will probably have to wait until next weekend. Will be hanging with the Dallas Z/28 crowd in Oct for what looks to be another fun cruise - great group of folks there for sure... Anyway, GPI did an outstanding job on the engine build and tune -- can't say enough about how good this engine runs.... Also, ADM and Andy for the outstanding LSA Conversion kit and belt upgrade -- this combo just kicks A** for sure... So, this adventure is not over as I still have a few more items I want to do. What to do, what to do ;o).... -Don

Tuesday of this week! After that, there are 3 events in the next couple of months. I'll see which ones I can make.
Won't be able to get to NCMs event this weekend unfortunately... that would have been great but since I had to go to GPI last week, job won't allow for more travel time. Plus.. daughters wedding planning cuts into travel/track time... -Don
