4k is pretty good. Mine come on around that time (57/57s). If you need faster then you may be able to. Set peak boost. Leave duty cycle at 10 and that should put you close to the 6lbs. Once its set turn your gain up incrementally. Dont go too high or you will overshoot. I dont think you will see too much of a difference though honestly.

.63 turbine housings might have been a better choice for you. They will support 800whp and spool up noticeably quicker.
As for boost control a little stronger spring in the wastegates would help too. The softer springs tend to let a little exhaust leak out before opening pressure. And as for EBC adjustment, feel free to run the gain up to a pretty high number. We often set them around 80-90% without any spike problem. Generally duty cycle below 20% is doing nothing. You usually have to hit 25% before it even starts to make any difference but then gets very sensitive from there up. IE a change from 20 to 25% does almost nothing but a change from 30 to 35% might be 3psi. |

How low did you get the timing? I'd run 8-9psi and drop the timing back to 7^ during peak torque then bring a few degrees back in toward redline.

Very strange you are getting knock with 6lbs and 7 degrees of timing. I am running double that timing on 3 times that boost. Granted I have a 9.1 compression engine on e85 and meth but still.

Knock being a noise....not a visual. Proper knock detection is important when tuning...not guesswork. |

Without the MSD working then it's probably leaning out anything over 6psi. All these problems will go away when you get the MSD working and can tune more. You should end up around 8-9psi on 93oct.

But yeah, reading knock, not audible as far as im aware. Ive been curious about the posibility of false knock, but thats not something tuners like to hear suggested from nobodies lol |

Knock is always audible, certainly when pump fuel is involved....that's why proper knock detection is important. Never blindly rely ( or believe ) on sensors unless you have verified they are actually proven to be working and calibrated correctly for your setup.
