Much credit to pat_t as he was the only person I could find running these, they fit like a glove. I'm running a 5mm spacer up front and stock camber maxed out, as Pat said I believe they'll fit without the spacer and stock camber. These tires are only $333 at Tirerack right now, significantly cheaper than 305s and they fill the wheelwells a bit better making the car look a bit lower.

Now to what we really care about, ran the car with these tires this past weekend with Chin at Pitt Race. Was on track a solid 5 hours, no rubbing and no noticeable change in handling characteristics. Lots of grip!

Now that makes my 295 R888Rs @ 295 a tire look silly! Would love'em for summer time but the Trofeo's can't handle any cold weather... I run a track attack winter league and guys run the R888Rs without cracking. Trofeos are the only high performance tires I've had crack in cold weather so I've been hesitant to revisit them in the off chance they survive into the cool months.

Nice. I have 325 Trofeos in the rear, but not up front. I will be due for fronts next year, might have to try them!

Chris, glad you trusted me enough to try them out! I believe Pirelli are making the 325s in significantly higher volumes as they go on the back of a lot of Porsche models. I'm guessing this is why I seem to be able to pick them up cheaper and more easily than 305s!

Woah! I just bought mine three weeks ago! That sucks! Just double checked and they were $333.13 when I got them.

I would have bought them right now at $330. They are $480 a tire now. Im going to get R7's I can flip them and get several more days.

Now that we are a couple years down range, are the 325s still working up front?
Not 100% sure but gotta think if the Trofeos work, Michelin’s (4s, SS, etc) are good to go as well?.

Still seems like no “definitive” answer on this..
My original Tofeos are coming up on 5yrs old, so I need to make a decision coming up soon.

Based on what I’m seeing here in DFW
-325/30 Conti extreme sports front/rear are working really good and look good!
-305/30 Michelin 4S front/rear - great tire, but sill looks a little skinny.

-I’m Michelin guy, have run them on all my cars for years including 2 Porsche 928s (ran PS2s) and love them.
-A 325 4S in the rear would look better, but not sure I want to stagger..

Sorry to derail a Trofeo thread, but wanted to pick some brains that are pushing the size envelope up front.
